What book should i bring to the festival?

heading off to the Allgood music festival tomorrow night!!! its pretty much a hippy fest for those who don’t know… last year i brought the Odyssey, something amazing about reeding that book and the fest combined struck a deep chord with me, i read a passage that fit so absolutely perfect waking up after the first night.

so i’m looking for some suggestions.. I have plenty of the classics and bunch of books of poetry, but i also have a library i can get just about anything from…

what would you suggest to go along with a mind expanding experience. All suggestions are welcome.. I’ve been into the classics lately, but I’m up for anything.

Thanks in advance. WOOOOO ALLGOOD!

Henry Miller: Nexus OR Plexus OR Sexus — or all three.

These are some classic novels I enjoyed growing up:

Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Moby-**** by Herman Melville (Not going to lie-took me awhile to get through this one.)

Aesop’s Fables (I know, I’m such a weirdo, but I love this one!)

Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales by Oliver Sacks

Hahaha it starred out Melville’s novel. I’m sure you’ll recognize the true name, though, lol.

yup.. and luckily i have all of those except the last one (and the ones zirble mentioned)

the trouble is narrowing it down to one that would fit with the vibe of a hippy music feastival… its an adventure so im leaning towards Don Quixote, but the diction is very laborious, and idk if my brain will be able to handle it at that point… i might have to keep with my trojan war theme and go with the Aenied… uggh, but i only have a used copy thats been marked to hell for the previous owners class.

hummmmmmm maybe i’ll finish fear and loathing in las vegas, although that could lead to a bad trip… i could always bring all three…

thanks for the help guys
