Is this legal..?

One of my supervisor was giving me hard time all the time. I am working in a very busy ticket office and we have to serve non-stop. However one of my supervisor is excessively monitoring me and standing behind me he is some time coming to me and telling me to call a customer even there is no one at the queue. I have a shift starting 6:00 am in the morning . Ones I arrived 5:50 and start my shift 6:00 . He prepare a letter to explain why I was late 1 minutes.

However I found this attitude very disrespectful although I am the one who is dealing with almost 300 customer in a day .
On one occasion again he approach me and ask me to call a customer while there was no customer. I start recording it and stating that ” I am now going to record now how empty is the queuing system while my supervisor giving me hard time ” my intention to record empty queue he then come and start shouting me pointing finger called me 3 times liar he straight away called line manager and said that I wasn’t listening his order. ( To be honest I listen and do everything he says , I sometime feel like slave under his management ). However line manager was calm I showed him the video and he went and spoke with him.
My supervisor is still behaving same even worst and he has told me that the video is lawful that I cannot use against him. But I have no other proof then this video.

OK . . . here’s the cheap way: go to your HR department. Use these exact words: “I am coming to you because my supervisor is creating a hostile work environment. He is telling me to ‘call customers’ when the queue is empty. There is a video showing that I am correct. I showed the video to the line manager, and he spoke to my boss, but NOW MY BOSS IS RETALIATING AGAINST ME. He is harassing me and I cannot continue to work under these conditions. I need you to intervene and put a stop to the hostile work environment he is creating.”

That should do it. When HR departments hear those words, they envision lawsuits. They don’t want some jerk boss getting the company sued for millions of dollars.

Your boss will become a pariah, and it will be HIS job that will be on the line!

He sounds a right beep! If his actions become more controlling ask to speak to a superior.
To much bullying goes un noticed in the workplace.
Threats of higher authority usually does the trick.

Who is your managers boss?
Because they need to know how dishonest and disrespectful that man is being. It’s uncalled for in the work place.

Like what is your position? Regardless, I believe I remember you posting about this before! I really would suggest recording it on a phone, put the phone in your pocket and have it on record. The rest you can take up to a boss or someone.

You work in India telex establishment I take it? They can treat you any way they want. If you do not wish to work under those conditions, there are one thousand people waiting to take your place.
