Is there any way to reschedule your holiday plans? I’m not sure how important this holiday is to you, but I personally would sacrifice my vacation for school simply because I consider education to be far more important. I have even had to curtail one my vacations for the sake of not missing my first class one semester. Of course, not everyone would agree with my opinion that school should come first. However, given the circumstances, if I had to choose between the two options, I’d choose school every time. One can usually choose to take a holiday (vacation) almost any time of the year. School, on the other hand, does not afford the same benefit.
Why can’t you just not go on holiday? Is this holiday something you absolutely have no say in? Your parents couldn’t possibly value this vacation over your education.
I agree 100% with windmills! What is your track record that you said they had a problem with?
Have you tried posting adds to clean people’s houses? I know you have said you clean your Aunts house…this could be a good side job until you find the kind of work you like. I cleaned house out where I’m at for 6 months while I was in between looking for jobs and actually made good money doing this! Just an idea…hope everything works out for ya!

Yes this holiday is everything to me I’ve been planning it for over a year with everything that’s happened to me I need some time away and I’m not sure how to reschedule it I’ve heard it costs money to reschedule but idk. The only remotely good thing is I will be here when the course starts on the 10th but a week after that I go on holiday so IDK maybe it is feasible for them to let me have a week off and give me coursework to do on holiday but idk I haven’t asked yet this is just me assuming the worst, it’s a bad habit of mine.
Well don’t assume the worst! Go talk to the teacher and let them know your situation I can’t see why they would not work with you on this!

Yeah I will, an email’s been sent telling them about my situation and stuff that I’m going on holiday etc but like I said with my track record they might refuse to let me in.
What happened was 2 years ago I got kicked out of college because I became ill with constant regular periods that drained me of all my energy and caused me immense amount of pain all the time, and I had a really bad itching skin rash, also I was not getting any sleep coz I had my ex brother in law living with me and my sister at the time and he refused to sleep downstairs so I had to sleep on a bed on the floor which meant I didn’t get much sleep. Anyway I missed a few days because I was ill and I was late for a few lessons also apparently I didn’t finish some health and safety test from a previous course so they threw me out halfway through the course, because of this they could turn around and say that I’m unreliable, and that I have unfinished work from the other course that I didn’t get a chance to complete.

I’m going on this holiday with my sister, it’s already been paid for and if I reschedule it to a week or two weeks earlier it will cost me a fortune. I don’t have the money to reschedule it because I’ll need every penny I can get to pay for college, and the holiday itself.

Absolutely. Sometimes things work out for the best - even though it may be too early for us to see it.

Thanks I got an email back from them but not about the holiday all they said was they don’t know the course dates yet but they’ll let me know sometime in August. I’m going to Spain a place in the Costa Brava called Tossa De Mar can’t wait, some time in the sun will be just what I need :)
