Let them talk about you, they´re making you famous.
Use this to your advantage or comply with them and fall under their rule.
The choice is yours.

Sometimes we do things that cause greater ripples than we intend. How we relate to the consequences is up to us.

School is really **** for that sort of thing.

My advice would be to not give them any more “ammo” that they could use to justify that sort of tag. Keep your nose clean, mention to your friends about how you look back and think about how dumb it was and sooner or later your schoolmates will realise they were wrong about you.

It will go away eventually. School is a lot different from real life, no cares what happened there once they’ve left and are working real jobs etc.

Grim_HArdcastle has it right, if they taunt you, smile or laugh, as if you are enjoying the attention.

They are just trying to control you, will you realise that you can control them.

My guess is that “man whore” is alpha male, and that they are all jealous, males and females.

So just maintain some confidence.

With the two very different approaches you have here, it would be wise to consider who you actually want to be, what sort of person you’d like to be.

As to “falling under their rule”. Weeeelllll, I’m not inclined to agree with smiling like you’re enjoying the attention. If done the wrong way it will end up encouraging the rumour, rather than “dominating” it.

Having said that, what you don’t want to be is meek. The single element that both approaches forgot to mention and is crucially important to either is: You have to be self-confident. Don’t let rumours rock you. They are after-all, only rumours. Hell, if you went by the rumours at my school, I got at least 4 girls pregnant before I even lost my virginity. GO ME!!

Do not ignore this or push it to one side this is bullying and it could get worse so you must tell somebody about this because they’re prob just jealous and jealousy is like a poison to girls, a girl I know had the same thing happen to her and she nearly committed suicide over it, her boyfriend went around spreading rumours about her in school saying they had sex when they didn’t (at least I don’t think they did but even if they did it’s private business) and everyone called her a slag, whore, **** her friends alienated her and she tried to overdose. Do not let them ruin you like it ruined her, she was strong and lucky enough to bounce back but not everyone can. How long has this been going on for?
