You can do a whole lot! You could go to your community centre and sign up to do some courses, volunteer, deliver newspapers, work for the city park and recreation to look after flowers and trees, etc. etc.

Go exploring, maybe take a camera. I find that people are more likely to talk to me if I’m sitting somewhere drawing, like a park or a cafe.
Ooh maybe you can have a portfolio nearby so it gives them a good reason to ask to see more of your art. I think most people are pretty shy, so you should try to open yourself up, and don’t wear headphones. Chatting with cashiers and stuff can help you make friends too.

theres millions of people online if you cant find someone in real life. you have the world infront of you by the click of a button, its up to you to explore it.
