need help to get off of tramadols i have been taking then for 15 yrs.

and now my body cant go without them , i have tried to stop on my on but it feel so so bad i cant do it like that, how do i get my life back i get sick as a dog my husband dont know that i have start back taking them at the time i stop i was still sick and no one was listing to me .

You should use the advice of your doctor but, here is a process:

You must start very slow. If you take 4 tablets a day, as I do, break a tablet in 4s and try taking 3/4 tablet. But only for one of the 4 tablets and probably not the one you take before bed or when you first wake up. Do this for a week. Then replace another full tablet with 3/4. Do that for a week. Continue this process until you are taking 3/4 of a tablet for each full tablet. Allow a week between each reduction.

Now go to 1/2 tablet and follow the above process.

Then go to 1/4 tablet and follow the process.

When you get through the 1/4 process you must start eliminating pills. If you are taking (1/4)tablets 4 times a day you must take 3 a day for a week; then two a day for a week; then once a day for a week then none.

This process takes a long time but should work. GOOD LUCK
