How to I help a situation where my family is in serious health conditons due to the living envoirment?

This is very serious. Very. The house has trash, old food, dust built up from year and years, cat urine everywhere and etc. My father already has physically and mental health issues. The reason I post today is due to it being my grand fathers home. He is suppose to be returning there tomorrow. He just cant. He doesnt understand. Ive been watching them all die and suffer for too long. There has to be someone, some buisness or mayb a show i can get this situation in. Im not even explain as well as I should. Its very bad. Not just the dirty house but the mental issues and how my dad can just tell the police its okay when i send them there to see if they are alive. If youd like more detail i dont mind answering anything. Thank you for reading and I hope someone has a answer. Or opinion. Im 22yrs old and this a affected my life. I cant care for them anylonger.

Please contact your local health department. They have resources and will investigate the problem and should supply the help you need. That’s part of their job.

Look up Hoarders its a T.V. show or look up Dr.Suzanne Chabaud she specializes in this stuff they investigate and bring in support and therapy for these situations. Suzanne is a very well known therapist who deals with this kind of stuff. She is alos a very good friend of mine. If you have problems let me know and I will get you her website….They block email address’s on here other wise I would just send it to you!
