umm. try life, a home, food, and clothing. they give you plenty, sit back and enjoy what you have and be grateful for that.

are you serious? look at the rest of the world! there are parts of the world where they have nothging, really nothing at all, they live in true poverty, don’t compare yourself to them, it is immature and just wrong.

i understand af, when all your frineds have really cool stuff and you have nothing, your friend mows his grass and gets $20 and you mow your grass and only get $5. i had one of those families, if we ever got something cool (like a nintendo) ALL of us got it (three other kids besides me) and we always had to share, so we never really got cool stuff that was just ours.

yeah, those people in other countries are starving and all, but what the heck with they do with an ipod anyway? they couldn’t even plug it in to charge it more or less have a computer to download music to it. they want food, over here we want stuff. the value of food has been reduced to value meals and .99 cent double cheeseburgers, who cares if i eat today, i want a freaking PS 3 !!!!

Anonymous, your arguement only serves to further my point, those people don’t even have electricity, and you have the nerve to compare yourself to them, that is beyond terrible. seriously read what you have written and try to think.

it’s not a question whether they have it worse, you’re comparing af’s want for something he/she REALLY likes to starving people in third-world countries
what does that have to do with af? i’m sure af understands thier plight, but does it help for someone to berate him/her for having normal human urges? yes people should understand that others may be less fortunate, and not to take what they have for granted, but on the other side, most of the really wealthy people now-a-days are driven by ambition, wanting more for themselves and not settling for second-best.

If you get a job, you can buy your own stuff…so then your parents won’t have to buy you anything and you can still have the things you want.
