Okay so i have 2 problems, they’re unrelated but help on either or both would be greatly appreciated!

1) so i think i have (or had) a UTI, but my symptoms went away, i don’t experience burning when i urinate, and i don’t have blood in my urine anymore, although every now and then it does have a strong smell. I think i got it about a month ago, and I have been drinking cranberry juice for about 2 weeks or so, but i’m not sure if that helped much. So my question is, do UTI’s go away on their own? Is it necessary to see a doctor? I’m not really sure what to do…

2) I’m graduating next year, and i want to have longer hair for photos, or at least more healthy looking hair, right now my hair is really dry and kind of brittle. I am only 16, so i don’t really have the money to spend on 80$ shampoos, but does anyone know of any shampoos i can find at walmart or something that helps with dry hair? I currently use head&shoulders and then after i put Moroccan oil in my hair, but it really only helps with shine, doesn’t really treat my hair…

Any help would be great, please and thanks!!

UTIs can go away on their own.
The best thing for normal hair is to get normal, cheap shampoo and conditioner without all sorts of added things, and one fancy one, and use the normal one more often while occasionally switching and using the fancier one.

if you’re bleeding like that then YES! go to a doctor! asap! there’s much more you need to change in your diet than just drinking cranberry juice (stay away from that with all the high fructose corn syrup, chemicals, dyes, preservatives, etc.). in fact just drop out all processed foods from your diet and see what happens. try to eat as many whole foods as possible.

try to condition your hair with yogurt (no sugar added, just plain) and honey. put it in your hair, leave it in for about a half hour or so, then wash it out. get a shower cap so it won’t drip everywhere. you’ll also notice a change in your hair if you eat the way i tell you to, as well get a product called MSM. you can find it in health stores and even places like amazon.

1. Cranberry juice can help, but there are some stubborn infections that require antibiotics. Failure to get proper treatment can lead to severe health complications!

2. There’s tons of shampoos out there with aloe and other plant oils that can nourish your hair. Don’t overshampoo, meaning to give your hair a chance to rest. And use conditioner to moisturize both your hair and scalp.

See a doctor about that possible UTI . . . don’t put it off!

goto a doc asap as uti can further complicate and somtimes can go to your kidneyg.. And for your hairs apply oil and massage your head and comb it gently keep it overnite and wash with shampoo next day… And improve your diet.. Go for vitamin A rich food and cod live oil tablets..
