OKay I want to dye my hair.

My natural hair color is dark brown and the red that I dyed it like two months ago faded. I want to dye the whole thing light brown and dye half of the upper part a orangy brown color. How do I do it at home? What products do you recomend I use?

I recommend you go to a salon. Red is a very difficult color to work with. I know from the experience of dying my hair multiple shades of red on many different occasions. My sister is also a cosmetologist. Your going to have to strip the color if you want to go lighter.

it’s not really red, I mean it had already faded to where it looks like I dyed it a light brown

A picture would really help. But if you want to go lighter then you should look for a color removal treatment in the hair dye isle at your local store. use that first, then dye it the color of your choice.
