What do you do to feel like you want to participate in life?
Everything just seems so boring to me. Love. Fun. Friends. Family. Music. Everything just makes me want to sleep. There’s no excitement in it for me. Any ideas? I don’t even feel depressed.

Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
Nice dragon!
But perhaps you have a chemical inbalance. Are you a Sens fan? That could be what has you so bored?
LOL Just kidding.
do things.
travel.
go to things.
drink tea.
listen to music.
reply to other people problems.
Help other people. That’s part of why I started using this website! It makes you feel like you have a purpose. And helps you get out of yourself. And it also sometimes helps to put everything in your own life into greater perspective.
The same thing with helping an animal. Maybe get a pet. Taking care of another living thing helps a lot. It helps to give meaning to your life, knowing that another life is depending on you.
Inthemist: lol, maybe.
Allthemessylove: I’ll try to do more of those things.
PrincessTomato( ?): Thanks! I’ll give it a try.

Seriously though, find out why everything bores you. I say you may have a chemical inbalance because you mentioned you were always tired. Do you eat healthy?
One big thing that makes life boring: When you’re not being REAL. Really really real.
That’s the weird thing. I work out 5-6 times a week and i eat pretty healthy foods. And it’s not really a bodily tired, it’s a mental tiredness. I have been depressed in the past, so i dont know, maybe im still in the throws of it.
Mr.Potatohead: Agreed, although i have a hard time holding onto friends.
Maybe i have a fear of success?/fear of failure. I dont really know how to differentiate the two tbh.
Rosabella: Do you mean showing ppl who you really are?
Not so much … More, I mean KNOWING & BEING who you really are, acknowledging what you really want. For yourself alone. It’s a feeling deep inside.

Find out what the triggers are that get you bored or depressed. ONce you figure out those, that will help you fix them.
Do you work long hours, have kids?
Rosabella: Hmm, i see what you mean. Maybe i need to meditate on that.
Inthemist: Im single, no kids, student (lots of h/w). I definitely have triggers. Ive picked up on that. I had to visit family i hadn’t seen in over a year and when i was on my way (last Saturday evening) i got really anxious and felt like i really didn’t want to go. After i got back, i lost my drive to do much homework and just relaxed the rest of the weekend. So i know there was something in that visit with my family that made something change in my head. But that’s just one example. I don’t think it’s a family thing exactly, but possibly related.
It was like i was almost ‘afraid’ to make an effort after that.

Most important thing.
Even I have a hard time holding onto friends, I mean everyone comes and goes keeping in touch is so difficult. But I’m still hoping to find my life long true friends.
Go clubbing and then see the world lol.

Then you live your life from inside out. You don’t lose yourself in the crowd, or try to …
Art, exploring, taking photos - things change all the time, go out and capture them!
Hunt for cool objects and make found art, I find most stuff in alleys.
I’ll try to think of more.
