Feeling help: I am too logical. - Help.com

I am too logical.

im always analyzing the possibilities in every situation and im getting tired of it. i just cant have a great idea without analyzing it .. and im very afraid that it wont be “original” or good enough and i cant get over that feeling. and because of that often i cant even decide what is a great idea and whats not. i just simply cant because .. actually i dont know why. maybe because i think more about what other people would like and/or that is not good enough. (i am making models in 3ds max so it getting a big problem. sometimes i cant even decide which color to use when modeling, not to talk about the whole model and texturing). I think i am getting very indicisive and i feel the lack of creativity.

I think it’s important to complete projects and get feedback. Every work can’t be a masterpiece but every work can be a learning experience, helping you to improve your craft. Pick something, stick to it, and try something new next time.

Too logical?
How about insecure?
Sounds much more plausible.

The need to analyze everything stems from the fact that you don´t trust the path you take and must then deduct yourself down to something of reason rather than let the creativity go ahead.

In some cases i bet you could make something just step by step like flying off in all directions without really thinking of it and then be miserable about the result. If you let this be for a month or so and then picked it up you could maybe see that it´s not that bad and you could even get better ways to improve it.
