Very odd for him to be asking this if he saw her there the same day?

why would a guy ask a girl about him not seeing her at a particular event on a particulate day, when she saw him seeing her at that time? He even passed her and saw her on that occasion. His wife did not see her. so the wife text her to ask where she was that day. the girl text back the wife and told her she was there, but was feeling sick and had to leave. The guy had seen her though. but then, a few days after the wife had text her, the guy is asking the girl if she was there/ was she there, etc. why would he ask that when he saw her there? They both knew that they saw each other. the wife honestly did not see the girl. that’s why she text. but the girl and the guy saw each other there. and then few days later when he was alone with her, he ask about if she was there. (Looked at each other).

Well lots of times people walk right by you and it doesn’t register that they saw you.

Well apparently it didn’t register that he saw the girl or he wouldn’t have asked a couple of days later, would he? What do you want to hear, that he is lying? I can’t say that.

Two funny things about this:

1) His wife was the only one who did not see her, that’s why she asked about the girl. After confirmation from the girl, the wife made it known the girl was there, although he did not ask about her being there or not.

2) It’s hard to forget you saw someone just a few days ago after you spent about 20 minutes staring at them from the corner of the room; then walk past them to sit in front of them.

She is pissed because the guy is acting like he didn’t see her when in fact she was purposefully snubbing him when he was trying to flirt with her. It is a game of one upmanship and she is losing even though she thinks she is winning…
