## Microsoft EXCEL help!

Hello,

On MS EXCEL - is there a way I can generate a sequence in my cell numbers?

for example, the formula in one cell is:

=SUM(B65:H65)

The cell next to it is:

=SUM(B73:H73)

In which the difference between these two cells are +8 on the “Cell number”

I want to make a horizontal list of formulas that have the same cell number but adds 8 each time.

for example like:

=SUM(B65:H65), =SUM(B73:H73), =SUM(B81:H81), =SUM(B89:H89)

is there a formula that can help me do that easily just by dragging?

THANK YOU.

yup….its the simplest thing.
just select 2or three cells with those values. All should be one below the other. then click on the very small square dot that appears just on the bottom left of this selection ,hold the click and drag all the way to bottom. voila!. you get the series.
