I changed the password for my Hotmail account about a week ago and then I forgot to select “remember password” and I forgot it.

I also do not remember the answer to my secret question. How do I get back into my account? I really need to check my e-mail because a lot of important messages are sent to that address.

did u put a second email address on ur account? if u have say u forgot pass. it should email pass to ur 2nd email address. if that dosnt work try to answer as many questions as possible on recover pass. espicially the ques. about wat were old passes.

Have you tried there account services, on the sign in page in small letters under where you type in your e-mail and password it says Account services click on it, then click on Get answers from Customer Support, then click onto Reset your password. Which brings you to this link;

If that did not work for you, there was other options at the Get answers from Customer support link
