And so my frustration increases…

This job ******** is pushing me far past my limits! I have applied to so many places and still no one has called or emailed me. I also qualify for Federal Work Study at my university, and have contacted numerous companies/people with openings for applications (I want to say about 6 or 7), and still no one has offered me anything. The one person who did seem interested in me, has discontinued communication with me (it’s been 2 days). I also believe that that specific job is no longer available since it no longer has a status online. I don’t know what more I can do, I’m trying the best I can, but nothing seems good enough for anyone or anywhere. The even harder pill to swallow is the fact that I NEED a job to help pay for school, and my car, and everything else that I need. Ugh, Everyone I know seems to have a job except for me! I’m so stressed I can’t even enjoy myself anymore… I feel like I’ll never get a ******* job anywhere!

Continue to seek for employment, and you will eventually find employment.

You MUST network with friends and relatives. It’s the job of the HR drones to screen you out–you need to get past them. That’s why you need to network.

You also need a decent resume. I’ve been a hiring manager, and you wouldn’t believe how many people put incorrect or expired phone numbers and email addresses on their resume! And the spelling errors–good grief!

Go around town and drop off your resume and fill out applications. And NETWORK, as I said. Go to company websites and upload your resume.

But in this day and time, if you don’t know somebody, you’re not likely to get hired!
