How do I close an unwanted app in face book.?

? I didn’t know about the app & clicked allow & the app is sending wrong information to my friends.

Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and websites: Edit Your Settings
Turn off the application.
In the alert box, choose the one you wish an click Turn off platform.
