Now it is being released that the Joker killer in Colorado was already seeing a psychiatrist…
. she should have had his guns taken away. Now she will be the one who testifies that he is insane and should not go to prison but to a mental institution. Maybe she is the one who should be on trial.

Yes, she should be too. Not helping, but not stopping or saying something when he must have said something. She should have her license taken away
I really hate the justice system sometimes, its fooked in head.
Maybe she didnt know about his guns?
yeah maybe he didn’t speak of his recent gun purchase to her… and maybe he acted normal towards her who knows

It’s not that easy!
Ever heard about medical secret?
If somebody is on psychiatric treatment and tells even the worst things about his dirty killing fantasies (!), the psychiatrist MAY NOT ACT against this patient — only in case that something DID happen already. But this wasn’t the case in this case here.
Should we call the police, just because Ralph is the owner of so many guns and because he has sometimes some dirty fantasies of killing some Democrats?
Think a bit deeper, boys!
Yes but if you tell anyone, shrink, pastor, doctor, lawyer, Indian chief,
you are going to kill either yourself or someone else they have to tell the police
I’m not seeing a psychiatrist who is a schizophrenia specialist… I am a hunter and a target shooter and I have owned guns since I was 8 years old without incident.

Not anyone!
Doctors, lawyers and pastors are bound to professional secrecy as well.
It’s a BIG difference between fantasizing or boasting of doing it and really DO a crime!
I am sorry for my language I am about to use.
If Joker killer in Colorado was/is a nut job:
Why did he go somewhere where no one could defend themselves?
Why did he go somewhere that no one could see him?
Why did he hide the Guns whilst on the way?
Why did he purchase a ticket?
How did he get there without anybody seeing the guns?
All of this took planning…
A real nut job would just ride around the streets shooting out of the window.
It is an insult to all those who have mental disorders to call him INSANE.
He is just a KILLER, nothing less, and nothing more.
P.S. I am also a Target shooter and would never point a gun at anyone, (anyone)

They didn’t Bloody Fu*king tell me tha were going to try to kill me & murder my husband on my friggen birthday.
I told my Pastor here in Iowa i wanted to stab myself in the neck & bleed to death in 4 minutes, i heard you can. He told me if i meant that he would have to call the police and back to the nut farm
i think the before and after picture are either photoshopped or different dude
We shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Many people see psychiatrists, yet that doesn’t mean any one of them can murder somebody and avoid punishment by getting committed to a psychiatric hospital by reason of insanity. The insanity defense is actually quite rare in the United States. In most circumstances, a state of temporary mental impairment, or better known as the “diminished capacity” plea, is more commonly relied upon. Even if there is a diagnosis of a mental disorder by the psychiatrist, other elements have to be taken into account in order to show that the defendant’s mental capacity was impaired to such a degree that the disorder prevented the individual’s ability to distinguish between right and wrong.
There is a whole list of important factors that must be taken into consideration and thoroughly examined before a ‘not guilty by reason of insanity’ verdict can be rendered.
I don’t know the killer’s history or mental state, but judging by the nature of how this crime occurred, I don’t foresee him getting committed to a mental institution. Let’s look at what we already know: The crime was premeditated as indicated by the fact the killer systematically planned the event by obtaining ballistic gear and massive amounts of ammunition over the course of several months. Nobody purchases that much armor and ammo without either preparing for war or having an evil scheme in mind. Also, let’s not forget that he rigged his apartment with explosives. That took a great deal of careful planning as well. So as far as I can see, the whole act was arranged very carefully and several months in advance. The killing spree was orchestrated with clarity of mind, methodicalness, and considerable patience. So in light of the fact that this was a carefully planned act, it seems unreasonable to believe the suspect was so screwed up mentally that he could competently carry out various daily tasks prior to the crime without being affected by any sort of mental disorder yet suddenly turn into a madman on July 20th, 2012. But then again, I’m not a psychiatrist so I won’t pretend be an expert on mental disorders and how each one can affect a person.
Maybe he was getting secret messages from the toaster in his room telling him what to do.

after my cup of tea in the morning, the tea leaves tell me what to do
Something wrong with that ??
And the voices in my head are screaming at me to say “HI!”
I personally think he’s just a wannabe Joker who desires attention and notoriety.

i was watching CNN the day following day, relatives of the victims
were saying they shouldn’t even show his picture on TV, don’t think he deserves the name “joker killer” , theater killer just fine, he should have a have
special name
I don’t think he deserves it either, because it unnecessarily glorifies him and it’s probably exactly what he was hoping for.
Clearly she did a **** job lol, I’m not making a joke about this or anything there’s nothing to joke about and this bastard deserves everything he gets but no doubt he will plead insanity and more or less get off with it like that **** who killed all those people in Norway

Unfortunately that is the way most psychiatrists work, they call “patient confidentiality” someone could go in there and say they’re gonna take out 50 ppl with a grenade and they wouldn’t be able to say anything because it’s confidentiality. I personally think it’s ******** and she should have her license taken away ******* idiot.
We can talk about neuroses and psychoses all day long, but some people are just mean–evil. And that’s what we had here.
Psychiatrists in the US who hear from a patient that he/she intends to kill people are obligated to report it. The safety of the public trumps “patient confidentiality.”
Aurora, Colo., shooting suspect James Holmes came to the attention of the threat assessment committee at the University of Colorado but no further action was taken because he left the school more than a month before the attack that killed 12 and injured 58, sources told ABC News.
ABC News has learned that Dr. Lynne Fenton, the psychiatrist who was treating Holmes, 24, at the school, was also a key member of the university’s threat assessment team. The group of experts were responsible for protecting the school from potentially violent students.
off yahoo this morn
This makes me wonder of the responsibility’s help.com has in reporting someone on here making statements of killing people.
There was a post a few weeks back of someone who came on here and was talking about killing a bunch of teenager’s. Who know’s it could have been this lunatic and what did we do here?????
A therapist has an obligation to report a patient if they say certain things.
i read on yahoo today the the psychiatrist or doctor had broke that
patient/doctor thing & warned the police a month prior
