I just found this website cause I’m a victim of this fraud situation also.

I owe the bank 2400 the people dont answer the phone or nothing now. I cant pay my rent or my bills because my job could not stop my direct deposit in time so the bank took it. What do i do is there anybody the still comes to this site that can help me. I recieved a check had to deposit it in my account it was like a survey I go to different western unions and wire the money and answer the survery questions afterwards.

You need citizens advice honey and ASAP. There will be some kind of bureau set up to give you proper advice in these kinds of situations. Have a look around on Google as I don’t know where abouts you are and find your local one.

So . . . I am going to venture forth a deduction. You received fake checks, which you deposited. You then wired real money out of your account to other people. The fake check, of course, did not clear and now you are out a ton of money because you wrote checks on that fake check.

You are a victim of a fake check scam.

You should contact the police and hope that they can recover your money.

In the USA, depositors are responsible for knowing if the check is fake or not.

I’m sure you can now understand what a scam this was–you send out real money while they give you fake money.
