word help: I cannot open attachments in pdf. - Help.com

I cannot open attachments in pdf.

I have pdf program but do not see how to get attachments to open. they only save open in Word with gibberish or Save As “AOL read” which I don’y understand.

you need to open them with adobe reader

Save the attachments first to your hard drive as .pdf files. Right click on the saved file and choose “Open with”. Select the PDF reader program you prefer (Adobe being the most popular but not the only fork in the drawer). And before hitting Apply click the little check box to always use this program to open this type of file.
