My boyfriend doesn’t want to kiss me!

I’m 16, and every relationship I’ve been in before has include some form of kissing. My current boyfriend I’ve been dating for 8 months, with only a month break in between. The only type of kissing we’ve done is a quick peck on the lips, and only because I pushed him to it. He told me he doesn’t want a relationship all about making out and sex, but its to the point it seems like we’re just friends sometimes. After 8 month I know him pretty well, so I know its time, but I can’t get him to see that and I don’t know why he doesn’t wanna kiss me! Advice?

I think that it is very strange that he doesn’t want to kiss you, but I’m a complete outsider, so maybe that isn’t important. I think you should definitely talk to him about it.

Well,I think having sex and kissing are not the same thing.Kisses will be there that’s normal,I think.But if he is telling he is not willing to have sex I support him.Relationship shouldn’t be for sex.Well,it’s always personal choice.So,you can talk to him about all this-kissing is not sex.
Or is he more interested in guys than girls but trying to hide it & want to become hetero not homo? You better have a discussion with him in details…

Not wanting $3x I can understand, but kissing? IDK whats so wrong about that… Is he a diehard religious nut? Otherwise my best guess is that he’s an in the closet gay guy and is dating you to hide it.

He may be asexual. Other than some kind of religious hangup, that’s the only explanation that seems logical.

I don’t know of any religions that aren’t against kissing, but one explanation, and this may be just crazy and wrong and rude and offensive and uncalled for, is maybe he’s not so much into chicks as he is the you know whats..
