life help: I’m just not good enough and I never will be. - Help.com

I’m just not good enough and I never will be.

There will always be someone better that comes along in his life. I feel like this guy…supposedly my friend hangs out with me but then the minute he sees something else I’m completely forgotten about. We don’t talk at all. But then if he needs something he comes back to me. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m not helping him out any more and if he asks me for help with something I’m gonna tell him to find someone else.

If you continue to rely on others for your sense of worth, you will never feel good enough, but you can realize right now that you are, all by yourself, without anyone, just absolutely great. Good enough for yourself, good enough for anyone. Whenever you’re ready, that epiphany and a happier existence is waiting for you :)

Very good.Don’t depend on someone else for knowing what you can do & what not.Just be yourself/You will never feel good if you compare yourself with someone else. You must be on your own.Be self-dependent,self-confident.You’ll find yourself much better than others. And never ever think “I’m just not good enough and I never will be”.It is never right. And yes, helping ungrateful persons yields nothing in this world but if you believe in after-life then it works in after-life.So,it’s on you.

Stop being there when he needs you. He’ll either become your friend or stop hanging around altogether. Then you’ll be free to find someone better.
