Do I have a virus?

Lately my browser (NOT the laptop, the BROWSER) has been running very slowly, & pop-up ads have been appearing everywhere, but only on my Google Chrome browser. I’ve uninstalled it & reinstalled it, but it doesn’t help. I’ve ran heaps of security checks (my anti-virus is one of the best, too) yet nothing can be found.

So is it a virus? & if so, how do I get rid of it?
