All students from my college who have achieved or are

seemingly going to achieve , a great life and a great career ahead are invariably the hottest guys(girls) look-wise. May be one-two might be exception, but just maybe. So does that means if I am not given a hot look by God/birth/genetics/luck automatically puts me in the ‘have-nots’ class ? I feel life is so out of control and so unfair.

To achieve a great life, depends only on YOU — lock, stock and barrel.

And not all who have achieved a so called “great career” are really successful or/and happy. There can be a very BIG gap between appearance and reality!

Well, looking at people who are successful in life, I don’t see that they are all “hot” at all (most of them anyway).

No no , you have to look at people who are passing out of college. Because after 30s or 40s , because of excessive work they do become unattractive.

Success, Failure,

Please stop using this irrelevant language.

Life is not about any of this.

The pretty people will have all the same problems and issues that will challenge you one way or another.

If it a useful motivator for you to feel inadequate, then good.

If it makes you unhappy, then get real.

Please dont allow yourself to be judged by anyone elses standards.

Zirbel is right it is down to you, just do not get into the mind trap, that awful words like success and failure conjure up.

It isn’t ? (O_o) Getting a good job after college, earning decent money is all what I think about. Maybe because I have been poor so long ?
