in the little bitty hamlet i live in just got $1.5 for a museum of natural history which we don’t need.

i am a disabled veteran and need safe water in my home but the town wants me to buy a permit for $800 and hire a plumber for $3200 to put public water in my home. i have been to social services, hud, and a number of churches, along with the veteran administration, and i get the same response from all we can’t help you with that! so where does a person go to get assistance with this? i do have very poor credit but be willing to pay it back the best i can

Don’t know all of the circumstances . . . are you getting your water from a well now?

Suggest you go to a city council meeting, and/or schedule a meeting with the mayor.

If that doesn’t work, write letters to the editor of your newspaper.

As a taxpayer, you should have access to safe drinking water–like the rest of the public! And it shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg to get it!

You were in the military, so you know how to fight! This is a fight–go get ‘em!

P.S. Talk to your local DAV office and try to enlist their help! If you don’t yet belong, you should! (Disabled American Vets.)
