I’ve recently become very cynical and it’s causing a lot of problems in my relationship.

I cause fights for no reason and I can’t seem to stop. I don’t know what to do. We seem to fight about the littlest of things, and it’s putting a lot of strain on our relationship. Help?

Learn to let go. If you notice that you are being overly cynical and critical, just stop and breathe. Is it worth fighting? Do you really need to hammer any point home to them, or are you just exercising futile frustration?

I am quite a cynical person, and very critical also, but I have to forcibly hold myself back sometimes after weighing the importance out. Sometimes, it’s just not worth it. You can control your responses and reactions, just got to learn how to do it.

either you want a relationship or you don’t. If you’re that unhappy with yourself or the other, take a break and let them live in peace til you figure you out … you may just be unhappy, need to focus on finding what it is you want with life and relations, sounds like time alone may do you good
