video driver help?

i’m trying to install my VGA drivers and for some reason nobody can seem to tell me what they are.
i put in the board’s serial number and it doesn’t exist. Intel’s website can’t identify their own ******* video card. don’t tell me to use those auto find things because they don’t work either. what’s the problem here?

I assume this means you are unsure what card you have in your computer?

Internal software is the way to go if Windows is failing to find what you have. (Check Google to find how to get your particular windows version to show this info if you have not already)

A dependable piece of software I can highly advise you get is PC Wizard.

Failing these methods, take a screwdriver to your computer tower.

To find out what kind of card you have you can dump the video bios memory.
Click start -> Run
type cmd -> Hit enter
type debug -> Hit enter
type d c000:0010 -> Hit enter
type d -> Hit enter continually (2 or 3 more times) until you see the information you’re looking for.

This tells you what card you have, then you go download the driver from the website of the manufacturer of the chipset.
