So i’ve been dating this guy for a while and i was

just texting him and i told him i liked him more than he knows (because i do), and he replied saying that perhaps i should tell him, but i don’t think that i love him (we haven’t said that to each other yet), and i especially wouldn’t want to say that over a text, and i think he’s kind of expecting it… i feel kind of stuck now, i’m not really sure what to say

Well, if you don’t fell comfortable saying it then don’t.

And don’t assume he wants you to either, because he may not be waiting for that at all, perhaps just some sign that you intend to take the relationship seriously.

And if he does force you to say it/emotionally blackmail you, tell him that it is an unkind and stupid thing to do and/or dump his ***. :)

Well don’t tell him anything untrue. If you really like him, say so. And then he’ll know, so you won’t have to say you like him a lot more than he knows.

I think he’s just curious as to how much you really like him. You made the comment that you like him more than he knows, so naturally he wants to know what you know. You know?

Just tell him how you feel. Despite what he may be expecting to hear if he’s in to you as well then he should be happy. Love is a strong word that gets thrown around way to easily these days and if it continues it will mean nothing in the years to come.
