What did you think? Thinking about using them but I saw some really scary bad reviews

Never used them. I often bought international versions of my books from Thailand and thereabouts ^^

chegg is good, but i normally go with ebay or amazon. It depends on the books. My books are always cheaper on ebay or amazon.
