Right Now help: Nights are the worst. - Help.com

Nights are the worst.

I don’t know what it is, but… I can keep myself occupied through the day, but (it seems that) once the sun goes down, my mind wanders, and my depression worsens.
Although it would be simpler to just go to bed, I can’t stay in bed for like 12+ (closer to the +) hours a day.
It’s a little worse right now because I’m home alone for the week.

I am the same way…all day it’s positivity and productivness. Then I get home in my room and it just turns to mr.hide.
I found a few ways to stay busy but now I’m just bored and stuffy.
But it seems to get better every day, so maybe it will with you too :) Whats causing your depression?

I can understand that. Night time is more translucent by nature, which can make it harder to stay in touch with emotions (in my experience being out of touch with your emotions leads to depression - especially anger)

ORIGINAL POSTER: many things are depressing me. Here is my post from last night which explains most of it. http://www.help.com/post/557031-i-hav…
But Being alone, not able to live at home with my family, are the key points currently.

ORIGINAL POSTER: you know the feelings flowing through me are like the time before I tried to kill myself… it’s weird I feel detached. Not out of body, but detached. My limbs are heavy, and it’s hard to concentrate on one thing. I don’t know what to do.

Praying has help me through many long nights. I know God will help if you ask.

Pray. See a doctor. Get a cat.

You can learn a lot about living from a cat. Notice how they “pace” themselves. See how they relax–they know how to relax!

You’ll also be loved!

I hope it helps to know you aren’t alone. There’s lots of us out there that are struggling with the same challenges. I agree with the above: Pray! He has helped me and will help you too.
