The fact that you have anxiety attacks and PTSD indicates that these are just symptoms, and you actually have another problem. Reading your posts above, about you having been sexually abused, and also having EDD, would lead me to ask you a couple of questions:

How long have you been going to therapy?
Do you cry a lot?
Have you been taking any medication for your symptoms?

It’s amazing that you have been controlling these symptoms by will power, something I would like to say good job to you for. I hope you have a speedy recovery and get to live the life you deserve.

thank you, i have been going to therapy alone for 6 years now it took 3 years to controls everything but it still comes back… i am against medication cause i don’t want to change the person i am. i have accomplished so much but that still don’t keep the nightmares and everything that stress and other factors bring… i was not just sexually abuse i was also emotionally abuse and physically abuse by the same person my father so yea….

i can not cry half the time which make everything worse half of the time …the other half i will cry…so idk not so much don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing…

Featherprincess9,

My advice would be that you start teaching yourself to cry; it has many many health benefits, and will also help you deal with the stress better! Try crying for half an hour a day, at least.

I commend you for your accomplishments, but what you went through was incredibly traumatic, and cannot go away instantly.
