I was wondering if anyone knows what could be medically wrong with me…

For the past week I have been so nauseated it’s ridiculous. I am nauseous all day, very little relief with Alka-Seltzer. Today, I woke up and felt immense pain behind my chest bone. It’s right in between my breast, feels like my esophagus. It is VERY painful. I assume it’s not indigestion since Alka-Seltzer didn’t help much at all. But all of this has started out of no where and it is very painful. Any thing would be helpful, thank you.

I will take a stab at it . . . your symptoms are consistent with acid reflux. Have your doctor get you an appointment with a gastroenterologist.

Left untreated, acid reflux can cause esophageal cancer–so you don’t want to play the waiting game with it! Plus, it will make you miserable if you don’t treat it.

When you have an “attack” (assuming it’s acid reflux), drink water and eat peppermint candy. This is not, however, supposed to be a “treatment” for it–just temporary relief!

I’ve been sneezing a little more often than normal. I get into sneezing fits where I’ll sneeze about 20 times then I don’t for about two days and it happens again.

I haven’t really eaten any spicy or acidy foods that I can recall.

I don’t have much money so I’m waiting to go to the doctor but honestly I probably will in a few days if this pain doesn’t stop. Tahnks to all who answered. Any other ideas?
