I have terribly itchy ears, I wake myself and my partner up most nights scratching the insides of my ears to pieces, it really makes me miserable and I tend to get a lot of ear infections. I have psoriasis in my ears, sort of like eczema. The doctor usually gives me ear drops (which I don’t like as my ears are already moist) and steroid creams - usually along with antibiotics. I’m not sure if you have the same thing though, so best check with your doctor.

Given that ‘hypercondriac’ isn’t a word, maybe you’d be better off looking at more realistic medical sites for health info?

maybe your ears are just dry? sometimes I get itchy when I have dry skin. Or when I get eaten up by bugs, or wear certain sweaters.

Maybe it’s your earrings. Sometimes I have allergic reactions to earrings. Or your shampoo or something, did you recently change shampoo?

Clean your ears with cotton swabs soaked in hydrogen peroxide from time to time. Forget what the doctors say about not sticking anything in your ear. You cannot keep your ear canal clean without cotton swabs!

See the ENT doctor once, its best to seek a medical opinion before doing anything on our own!
