what’s the definition of spending time together?

my personal opinion is the each moment you spend with someone should be a time that you can look back on and appreciate, and its shocking what people consider quality time these days such as watching tv or reading books in bed together or doing chores, yes these things can be enjoyed but I feelif you do something with someone else and still find yourself bored then that’s not spending time together.

what’s your take on it?

I think spending time with someone could be anything from sharing an experience like walking somewhere, watching a movie or doing chores to actually communicating. I prefer communication, I think most people do, but sometimes just being and observing the same things as another can be nice, especially if you are sharing appreciation or can have fun appreciating their appreciation :)

It depends on what the persons defines as quality time for themselves. I’ll watch television with my mom, and we’ll talk while we watch it or do something like play a board game. I consider this quality time that I spend with her as we don’t really play with dolls together anymore. Some people spend quality time together shopping, gardening, cleaning, baking, or eating. It all depends really.

Almost perfect. Add to it working with each other.

Reading in bed and watching TV together don’t count except for the tiny moments where you talk about whats going on in the books or the characters on TV together.
