and i eventually stopped walking

when I crossed over to the other
side.
and I was able to
see what was really
right in front of me.
and the woman
she had a fearful look
in her eyes…as if she
understood that my territory
and theirs,
we could no longer cross
because I was banned
and there was no love
but the river and the beautiful
city that stuck out
of the corners of the construction covered-
bridge
made me realize that it was all
too real.
and finally i gave up
and she made me see.

Some people like dreams, and it can be nice when they are sweet dreams, but waking up into more solid reality is such a wonderful feeling, even if, in cases like that, you just bumped into a reality that refused to vanish.

I really liked this. Is it considered a poem? I can’t tell, but I got bored at this point

because it seemed like it was turning into a story, and poems are condensed and rely more on user interpretation than description. Your good, though.

well… I just respond to what people say. People tend to say the whole truth, but they don’t know that. And if you got a million different people to look at what you said, they’d all see some other aspect of the truth that you didn’t know you said.

And I just replied because I was happy to see a post about something other than noses.
