She likes me or she doesnt?
What to do?
Well it’s a really weird story actually:
I’m a senior student in university.
I met a girl in one of my elective classes during the beginning of the Spring semester of 2012.
It turns out that this girl “X” and I have a mutual friend who’s also a girl and is also with us in the same class.
As a result, we formed a group where we all go out together (7 people) and party together. During the start of the semester it seemed that “X” had something for me, as I was moving on from my ex-girlfriend. To my surprise, the girl started everytime after class asking me questions that show she’s interested. (ex: who are you, what’s your major, …) Time passed, and during the birthday of one of the group’s members, we all went out to a nightclub where we partied. However, here’s where things start to get weird. As i tried dancing with “X”, the way she danced she wasnt even staring at me! As a result, i danced with her and other friends who are also girls. This was the first time, all of the group members went out together. I felt as if she was rejecting me in someway…so I let it pass! Always talking in class and so on…We planned a second party in May for a saturday evening. As i was talking to “X” on whatsapp before the party, she told me “can we agree on something?” i asked her what? she said in someway “I didnt want to say this last time but i dont usually dance with anyone and i like to go crazy by myself”…I said “FYI , I didnt only dance with u as i danced with others too, anwys go crazy by yourself”… the funny thing she and another friend (girl) came with me in my car to the night since they are girls, so we talked normally as if she didnt say anything…I swear, during the evening I was so stubborn that I didn’t even look at her! as she came to sit down and relax and i standed up and went dancing…even when she was dancing near me i turned my back to her in a way as if she wasnt there…! I’d take it as a rejection from her and that she didn’t care!! The funny/ weird thing?? the next day she talked to me on whatsapp telling me “Guess what im doing”…i said what? ….she sent me a pic a of a chocolate jar with strawberries next to it claiming that shes eating it (she loves chocolate so from time to time I call her a chocolate addict and post funny things about chocolate on her facebook wall)
So here you go!! if she didnt care and “rejected” me, why did she do that the next day?
The story doesnt end there!!…as time passed and the semester was coming to an end, we always talked in class and all that…and we reached a point where i have to know if there’s something from her or not!!! i was really confused back then. we did a lot of small plans “the group” that is like bowling, dinners, etc.
However, i wanted to ask her out: so i called her during the semester end: and asked her…she said YES! not we’ll see or something else “YES!”…however when the date came, she postponed twice!!!! and the final time i stopped whatsapping her for 4 weeks.!! until the end of july, where we were all going to this big party!! and she wanted to come along in my car…The girl is very sweet and not a user, so she wanted to break the ice: and talked to me on whatsapp: “should we wear a swimsuit to the beach party? or is it on the bar?” …It was my turn not to be easy with her, so i was neutral when talking to her (it’s my right!! I dont know what she wants! she likes me or not?! it’s very confusing)…To continue, she wrote on whatsapp “cant waittt” to which i did not reply! then later in the evening before going to the beach party, she told me if i can pick her up..to which i neutrally said “ok, ill tell u when i leave :)” (OHHH BTW, I told her i hate that smiley :) and she keeps using it when talking to me, as a sign of i dont know what). So i took my cousin and his girlfriend with me and “X” was sitting in front. My cousin and his girlfriend assured me!!!! that from the way she talks to me and stares at me, she likes me! however during the beach party, as i asked her many times to dance with me, she kept saying “later” and for most of the party she was sitting holding her feet crossed as if she was sad from something…when i asked her whats wrong she claimed that she started a diet -_- (her body is perfect i swear!) i didnt buy it…I asked her three times to dance with me and everytime she said later…until she finally stood up alone and started dancing…so as i tried dancing with her, she turned to the other friends who were dancing!!!!!!
FROM THE WAY SHE TALKS TO ME AND STARES AT ME, THE GIRL APPEARS TO lIKE ME, BUT FROM THE WAY SHE ACTS, it’s as if she doesnt!!! i dont get it!!!
On that night, as i was angry, i got really drunk that my cousin had to take me home!
the next day she whatsapped me asking how i was: i was really sweet with her and didnt do anything wrong and we chatted normally!
The day after, as i whatsapped her, she kept taking a loooong time to answer, it was her sister’s birthday, but that’s not a valid reason to do so!
during the evening of that day, i wanted to try one last time to ask her out… so i called her but no one answered her phone. during that same night, i whatsapped her at around 11pm! she didnt answer
The next day, i wanted to try one last time…so i opened whatsapped and checked that she was online before calling!! She also didn’t answer the phone!!!!!!
So i gave up!!
2 weeks later (august 10) , as i was on campus in the library i saw her working there(part-time work), and i swear she saw me, i had 2 guy friends with me who i trust a lot and told them about “X”….But because of what she did,,,i acted as if i didnt see her!!! and she in return didn’t even bother to say hello…as my friend claimed, she sat behind the desk in a way thinking i wouldnt see her…
I dont know what’s going on in that girl’s head!!! what to do?
P.S: we’re still in the same group, and when we party, we all party together,,, however next time we party im not taking her with me!! furthermore, as i created a group conversation on whatsapp and to which i added her and the rest of the group members because we’re going to party on august 18 …i did the plan, and they all replied to confirm they were coming…except for her!!!! she left the conversation without replying!!!! ?
Please explain!! what to do? should i Let her go?
