I have a friend he and his wife are living with me

and my wife right now , they have both been out of work for over two years , his wife is a russan national and has not seen her family in russia for 14 years she just found out her mother has had a severe stroke and may not live for very much longer , they have no money what so ever and we , my wife and i can barely provide for us all . how can i get my friends wife to russia to visit her family and back again ?

The Russian embassy may be able to help . . . have your friend’s wife contact them to see what can be done. Perhaps she could fly on a diplomatic flight back to Russia.

Otherwise . . . look for the cheapest air fares. Book well in advance.

You are good to help your friends. Right now unemployment is the worst since the Great Depression. Most people, if they were to lose their jobs today, would have to search for at least a year before finding another job! That’s the absolute truth!

Also . . . see if family members in Russia can contribute to her airfare! They should!

The embassy is an idea , unfortunately most of her family in Russia is unemployed right now she even thought about getting deported but no one back home could help her get to where they are at from Moscow

See if you can find some kind of Russian-American association in the USA that might could help!
