Normally it’s learned when you have practice at being successful. So if you can engage in and complete tasks that are beneficial, such as volunteering, it can be helpful. Working produces a similar feeling as well.
Basically, the better you see what you have done in life and accomplished, the more you have trust in your abilities. Though you also need to make sure you don’t overdo that ^^

first you should work on your mind and replace negative images of you with positive ones and give yourself support and love. take it slow and try to engage yourself in what you want to accomplish. small successes can bring you self esteem. I have found out that getting support and encouragement from my close friends helps me a lot in improving my self confidence.
