Making a game w/ Java.

I am going to try to make a game. I want to use Groovy which uses java. I want to know if i have to install anything, am i able to test simple lines of code, ect.
If i try to make a game, will i have to place a lot of code then run the game to test the code?
Do i need to download any java files, and/or groovy files?

You can test code at any level. A common example is for programs to start with typing out, “Hello world.”
If you try it and it works, that should answer your question ^^

I’m afraid I don’t know.

You’ll need to download and install Groovy. It’s available here:

And here’s how to run your first “hello world”:
