tips help: I have an interview with a retail company. - Help.com

I have an interview with a retail company.

I’ve had other interviews before but never get called back. Any tips on how to do well in an interview would be appreciated.

Enthusiasm and confidence can really help. If you stress how interested you are in the job, it will definitely help you. Following up is also important. Call or email a day or so afterwards to check up on the decision making process and ensure that you aren’t forgotten.

Whoever is asking the questions controls the interview.

Don’t sit there like a bump on a log as they ask you questions. Ask THEM questions about what it’s like to work there.

Master these questions, both the interviewer’s and your own . . . and you’ll ace the interview!
