I really want to do volunteer work in NYC.

I have been looking over the internet, but I can’t really find any website that have the instructions. I want to work at a children hospital, orphanage or help the homeless. Does anyone know about how I can take my next step to be a volunteer?

go to a hospital, and ask what their procedure is for hireing volunteers.
