I really just need a friend…
I’m sad, alone, and I don’t have anyone to talk to about anything. I don’t have any real friends and I really need someone to talk to. My deepest desire lies in finding someone who will be a true friend to me who cares about me and my feelings. I feel like I put too much into every relationship I have and receive nothing in return. I always feel like I annoy people. I need someone to understand.

It’s weird every time I ask for help, I close up and can’t describe anything…Part of me thinks that I don’t want help. It seems like I get into these little ruts every once in a while. I always have. I’m 20 now and it’s been going on since i was 11. I’ve been off and on medication. I’m on zoloft now and for the most part it seems to be working. I just have extreme problems with finding friends.
aww ill be you’r friend :D
ill be here for you whenever, gimmy a shout if u want too :)
that is the same for many of us. I know for me at least that is why I’m on the net.
I’ve thought about doing the internet thing to make friends but pretty much everyone I meet is very far away.
same for me. but that works for me. I’m a socialy awkward, so doing things on the net…
It’s kind of ironic actuially. I’m a socialy awkward minister. :/
I’m trying really hard to avoid my obvious social awkwardness but sometimes it gets to be too much and I kind of crack. I kind of feel like everyone around me thinks i’m the weirdest person ever when that happens. You’re a minister? Like a Christian minister?
I am a minister. I’m a Universalist, but I primarily follow the teachings of the christian faith.
this is my ministry:
This is awesome! I love the set up especially the home page introduction:) Is is just you or do you work with other ministers on the site?
That site is run just by me. the church’s website is http://www.themonastery.org/
The ULC (Universal Life Church) has a bad rap for the practice of ordaining anyone who applys, so I set up another site for my local region.
That’s cool. I love how you’ve found a way to get the word of God to people despite your issues with public speaking, awkwardness, etc. VERY inspriational:)
Universalists believe in the rights of all people from all faiths to practice their religious beliefs, regardless of what those beliefs are, be they Christian, Jew, Gentile, Agnostic, Atheist, Buddhist, Shinto, Pagan, Wiccan, Druid so long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others and are within the law of the land and one’s conscience.
And thank you. I would like to invite all of you to follow my sermons on my ministry site. Also any suggestion for improvements would be welcome.
I try to put a new sermon up each week. normally posted on Mondays.
I never once claimed to be a priest. I’m an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church. I can legally preform the duties, assosiated with any priest/pastor/rabbi/etc. Including marriages, funerals, baptisms, etc.
many many people consider Universalism a joke, but it is not. we are a community of people with beliefs, the same as any other religion out there.

However slightly different from the standard christian practices, I personally believe that the metaphysical is closely related to nature.
