you don’t possess me…
you don’t own me….you’re
like a beautiful letdown
on a starry night.
and I can feel myself…fading
into the darkness
when I am around you
as if
my being is crashing into
non-existence
and I see beauty and wonder
in all things that
overflow into nothingness
and cannot control what
is right in front of me.
