There’s a guy who seems interested in me, based on

the way he replies to me in our e-mails, but it always takes days for him to reply even though he’s online and has nothing to do. I’m not sure what to think?

Maybe he is waiting for you to show that you are interested in him before he goes any further. He may be letting you know he is interested, but … kind of holding back until he sees that you are likewise interested. Just my guess maybe.

It sounds like he is telling you two things:

1) Yes, I’m interested in you!

2) But not really….

If it turns out that you aren’t interested in him, then he can say, “Yeah, like I said, not really. But if it turns out that you are interested in him, then he says “OK babe, lets do this!

Keep in mind that it could mean anything since we are dealing with human nature. For example, maybe he just wanted to say nice things to you but doesn’t want you to think he is interested in you in a serious way, so he takes a long time to answer you, so as to say, “I’m not interested in you in that way”.

So who can tell, nobody is a mind reader. You’ll just have to feel it out for yourself.
