i don’t know if you want my opinion because i don’t know you very well. i don’t read too many of your posts because i don’t usually know what to say to people when they are depressed so i just hope someone else can help.

you seem like a nice person, but all i really know of you is that you’re a girl in high school who has been depressed for quite a while. probably very emotional and insecure. it sounds like you might get too wrapped up in things that don’t really matter, and you fixate on things that bring your sense of self-worth down. i also have no idea why you wish you were never born. you keep saying that without ever giving any reason. it confuses me. it makes me think that you once dated someone who broke your heart, but who knows? i try not to guess.

Help me with: I finally have a lab.

You’re mostly right and if you’re that curious as to why I wish I was never born it’s because I’d rather not go through anything.

i do. experiencing pain is the only way to truly experience joy. pain can hurt you, but it won’t destroy you. i am grateful for every single painful moment in my life. they made me who i am, and for that i am happy. the rejection, the heartbreak, the loneliness, the fear, the doubt, the hate, the sadness, all of it. you can never understand what it means to live without dying, in a sense. how can you understand what it feels like to gain, without every understanding what it feels like to lose? living a lackluster life, THAT would make me want to abandon living. to cry with joy, to feel a warm swelling in your chest that makes you feel like you are about to burst, to embrace life and truly love each day and see its beauty. that is what makes someone live.
