dating help: My husband has an android phone and i noticed he has a local dating app downloaded on it. - Help.com

My husband has an android phone and i noticed he has a local dating app downloaded on it.

When I questioned him about it, he told me he had downloaded a wallpaper (from the play store) and it had installed additional apps to his phone without his knowledge. Is that possible? Or is he lying to me?

It sounds specious to me!

I personally wouldn’t buy it.

Ask him to show you where on the Play Store he got the wallpaper . . . tell him you’d like to look at some for your phone!

He is lying to you. Do what The Sherlockian suggested. If he resist or gets upset about it and makes you feel guilty for “snooping” you know right away your suspicion is right. If he offers it to you to look at it without resistance, you know he told you the truth.

I would ask to look at his phone and the app. If it was genuinely a mistake he will have no problem with it. If he is defensive, then you know for sure you have a problem.

Yes, try to “duplicate” his purchase . . . and see what happens.

But I have never heard of a “dating app” bundled with legitimate wallpaper!
