i hav braces and had an overbite

the orthodontist put in a bite plate that corrected my overbite
th overbite made me talk with a lisp but now i got my bite plate out
the orthodontist said that i had 2 adjust to not having a bite plate so i will lisp 4 a day or 2
its been over a day nd i still talk with a lisp
will it go away?

Orthodontists cost lots of money. If you have questions, ask them! Call the office, leave a message. You deserve answers! Good luck with the braces.

it took me about a week to get rid of my lisp. i still have to have braces for 15 months. im 17 years old! they suck dont they.

help! i have a bite plate that makes me unable to chew anything!!! Will i have it for as long as i have the braces???

Hi i have braces i just got them today. i can’t bite down at all!!! do u guys no if i wont be able to bite down until i get my braces off? by the way i got the regular metal ones..
