What does everyone think about the Help.com “Reciprocity” feature?

Is it helping you find other folks that you’re able to help? After you’ve helped someone else, are you getting replies to your own posts in a timely fashion? Anything you would like to see changed?

Doesn’t really help if you’ve never had a need to post anything, but otherwise it’s cool!

It’s a good idea, you can learn a lot by reading the answeres. They give you an insight to other users as well.

hi born2rock - you can remove friends by going to your Account Admin page (the link is the in white box in the top-right corner of every page, if you are logged-in) and then you click the “Friends” tab.

question for everyone who has replied, esp. Thepp - I was curious about your feedback on the Reciprocity feature not only when you’re reading other people’s posts, but after you have created a post yourself… Is the Reciprocity feature helping you find other people who may have the answer to your question, or might be the right person to give advice about a problem that you’re having? Are we providing clear enough information about how to use the feature? Does the text look to cramped and jumbled together? Any changes you would recommend? Thanks in advance

The header and footer in my oppinion. The lettering should all be the same size.
I think it does help to give information that is useful about what type of help users are good at and if they are the right people to ask for help. I use it when I am waiting for people to reply back to me, not all the time but often enough.

I think that users in general, dont how to use it or what it is for and the word reciprocity may put them off.

It is a good Idea and should be left.

Hope this helps a little.

I dont feel the reciprocity feature necessisarily helps you find people you can better help, nor does it find people that can assist you any quicker than posting an open question
