how do you write a GOOD reading reflection on a COMPLETELY boring book?

i’m supposed to write a reflection essay on The True confessions of Charlotte Doyle!

Look beyond the boringness, and try to think about what the book is teaching. Even if it’s not doing a good job of it, it’s probably trying to illustrate a few themes. So take those, work with them, up-play them a bit. Like even if a theme is just touched upon, discuss it. Even if you’re adding a lot more to it than is in the book.

And bo, it would be wrong and illegal to make that search and use someone else’s essay. Copyright laws exist, as do morals.

If your having trouble understanding the book as a whole, try to understand the storyline of the book (jot down a few lines describing each chapter or so) then read it again with the notes you took handy, and it will help the book come to life a little.

If you can understand it but its just boring, ignore what I wrote… :-)
