Does this exist?

I’m looking for (or about to create if I can’t find it) a way to use a police cruiser’s wireless signal to locate cop cars in the vicinity. Sort of a Google Maps meets radar detectors. I’m not even sure it’s legal, but I’m curious if it’s been done or if it’s feasible.

sounds possible. i know that my wireless card can detect and identify network hubs. you would have to do some serious modifications to get them to find a reciever. check with some anarchist websites and chat rooms. if anyone has a clue, it’ll be them.
